Organized annually by Akdeniz Tanitim A.S. in collaboration with the German Exhibitions Group Messe Munchen, the Baucon Yapex Exhibition has become a decision place for many tourism investors, pointing a growing emphasis of the fair in the market. Tourism investors came together with building materials companies to make decisions about the latest materials and technologies to be used in tourism investments. The fair, a major decision platform for luxury hotel designs and unique tourism investments, benefits from being located in Antalya, the heart of the tourism industry of Turkey.

Between October 22-25, 2009, more than 350 building and construction companies exhibited in the Baucon Yapex Exhibition and almost 30,000 professionals visited the fair and made business contacts and contracts. Turkey is the last country and Antalya the last city which will be affected by the global recession period, according to the organizers. Tourism is the biggest investment tool of Antalya; a major reason of its rapid urbanization are the huge construction sites of new tourism investments in the region.
